My least favorite options so far - both are out of my top 50 pitchers. Hard for me to vote for either, but I have Kelly slightly ahead of Heredia.

Agree with jaroche6. I guess I will go with Kelly. He is much further along, and Heredia really is a lottery ticket at this point.

I haven't even liked Casey Kelly
. . much over the years. I remember debating with a confused fellow over whether Giants star lefty Madison Bumgarner or, Casey Kelly had pitched better in the Eastern League (Bumgarner 1.93 ERA, Kelly 5.31 ERA). I know ERAs aren’t anything but, maybe when the difference is more than three runs . . .? In the same pitchers league? I alwaqys thought that Kely was just continuosly overrated by, like, everyone.
In either case, you have to really, really love that imaginary upside of Luis Heredia to like him more than CK I think. Kelly has come a long way that Heredia still has to go. Then again, either one could get injured I suppose.
Wow, i’ve come full circle with Kelly. I can finally like him now becuase he is, finally, underrated.

I wouldn't go that far
I like Kelly over Heredia.
But he’s still getting over-rated.

Maybe
. . . but the 44th or 45th pitching prospect isn’t all tjhat high for all the talk about him the past couple of years eh? There won’t be 44 or, 45 good major league starters from this group, just saying.

and if you think
Casey Kelly won’t be a good major league starter, then there’s no contradiction right?

No Sir
We are just at the point in the list where if you strongly believe a player here is going to be a good, major league player, that they probably should have been on the list already. Of course if we have doubt, there is no contradiction there :) Good piont BB.
Examples: Im pretty certain that addison Reed will be a lot better mnajor league pitcher than most of the pitchers currently on the list and, in the lester group. Just my opinion, of course.
