What's the cutoff percentage to stay on the poll?

3 votes

keeps you on the poll. the percentages end up varying a bit. but if you get three votes, you are on the next poll. 2 votes and you are off the next poll.

by auclairkeithbc on Nov 26, 2025 4:29 PM EST up reply actions

the cutoff

is roughly 4%. we had one poll close with only 50 votes, but it lasted over 24 hours and it wasn’t very close, so it was easy enough to call. in that one, the 2-vote guys got 4% and were kicked off. i doubt we ever cross the 75 vote mark again, but it is possible. if so, 3 votes will be 4%, and i’ll probably keep them on. however, the standard could very easily change as the voting will inevitably drop off a bit.

Looks like a 3-way between Bradley, Erlin, Perez

I would rank them Erlin, Perez, Bradley personally. Wondering how many others would rank Erlin or Perez above Bradley who voted for others. And vice versa.

Perez, Bradley, Erlin for me

Perez is after Cole for me, then there are 6 pitchers still remaining between Perez and Bradley, then Erlin a good bit after that. I felt like a pretty strong Erlin supporter last year putting him in my top 100 overall list, but I don’t see him having the ceiling to warrant being near this high.

this sounds like a good ranking

Can’t help but feel like Perez is being slept on. For me, the big question is whether or not he’ll have the killer instinct that a frontline guy needs. He flashes it at times, and when he does, his command firms up and he is awesome. When he doesn’t . . .well, you get spotty command and some inconsistencies on the secondaries, with predictable results given the levels that he has played at. All the tools for success are here, and I think he’s getting dinged unfairly for yet another overly aggressive promotion.

Bradley

Love the reports on Bradley from this fall. Now, that said, I saw Cole pitch this year, and he was dominant. I could go either way, but I think Bradley’s upside is a tick higher, and I’m not sure Cole has that much more polish than him.
