He ain't sexy

but Tom Milone. Tough to argue with what he did.

by Mike Kaluk on Dec 6, 2025 6:18 PM EST up reply actions

sorry

this should be in the testers section…doh.

by Mike Kaluk on Dec 6, 2025 6:21 PM EST up reply actions

5.54 KO/BB

crazy numbers for Milone this past year. 1.0 BB/9 and a 9.4 KO/9 all year in AAA. Similar numbers last year in AA.

Getting sexy.

I could use some more tester names

There must be some pitchers pretty high on some lists that haven’t been mentioned yet.

Luis Heredia

anyone? might be a B-? are we at that level yet, or just B’s still

by BigG'S on Dec 6, 2025 5:19 PM EST up reply actions

I would think

Still B’s. We have 47 pitchers listed. Though Cosart got a B- from John. I’m sure some people think he’s a B as well (or better).

by auclairkeithbc on Dec 6, 2025 5:21 PM EST up reply actions

I think

Heredia is a definite B. Call me Homer, but so does a guy like Keith Law who had him at #46 overall in last year’s midseason list.

Da'Sean Butler - A Mountaineer Legend

by McCutchenIsTheTruth on Dec 6, 2025 6:03 PM EST up reply actions

Oh yeah sure

I have no problem adding him to the pool. But if you think he’s only a B-, there are probably other choices. If you think he’s a B as you do, then this is a good time to start at least considering him as a tester.

by auclairkeithbc on Dec 6, 2025 6:12 PM EST up reply actions

I'm

saying I have him as a B/B+ (I believe that’s what I rated him as in the re-grade thread). I was trying to point out I’m not entirely a homer and have another basis for why I went that higher other than “The Pirates are awesome, yay Luis Heredia.”

holy crap

that seems insanely high for Holmberg

among top 50 overall prospects? or top 50 pitching prospects?

by blue bulldog on Dec 6, 2025 7:40 PM EST up reply actions

oh my bad

i thought you were saying top 50 overall

i’m not sure if i’d have Holmberg among the top 50 pitching myself, but it’s not like i’d complain to see him there

by blue bulldog on Dec 6, 2025 11:43 PM EST up reply actions

Have him at 46

so back end. I don’t think he will make the community top fifty, but I think he should be added to the testers section.
