Looking for an owner for a 20 team, $70,000,000 salary cap league that has been around since 2003. 19 of 20 owners have confirmed their return, so we just need one new owner. The roster available is a compete now roster, that won the championship in 2010 with players such as A-rod, Mcann and King Felix. We are in the middle of performing contract extensions, with the deadline being 15 January, and our 3 round minor league draft starting the 29th of January. Overview is we start 25 players (15 position/10 pitchers) each scoring period, which runs from Monday through Sunday. It is a 42 man roster, head to head league, with 5 simultaneous games going each period. Scoring is decimal format with many categories. We do pay $10 a year for the cbs website we use. Startup dynasty looking for owners. You will have a 40 man major league roster and a deep minor league system with a max of 210 minor leaguers. The inaugural season will have a 40 round major league player dispersal draft, followed by an 80 round minor league minor league player draft.

It’s a salary cap league. Each offseason will have free agent auctions for players that are not under contract.

Each year after year 1 there will be 2 drafts a year. A First Year Player draft (amateur draft) and a minor league player draft (any minor leaguers not already on a team).

The goal of this league is to simulate being a GM of a MLB team.

My 16 team 6×6 fantasy baseball auction league with minors draft needs 2 managers.

We canned a couple guys who had let their managing fall by the way side. They had competitive teams but weren’t up keeping them. We are looking to make it more fun and more competitive in 2012. This is a very challenging league with experienced managers seeking very active managers who can check the proboards we host on site multiple times a day. Minors knowledge is a must.

Don’t mean to piss anyone off. Hoping this is ok to post, as it’s where I found a different league I joined last year.

Anyhow, established keeper league…12 teams, 5×5 roto…with 1 definite opening, & possibly a 2nd. One guy had to bail, and the other just isn’t around enough. First time we’ve had any manager changes in 3 yrs. Both teams have valuable assets though, and can compete asap w/ normal activity.

OK, my own league looks like it will have 3 openings, which need to be filled ASAP. This is a great league with dedicated owners, many of whom are still the original founders. I advertised earlier in October, but the commishes weren’t yet ready to add managers - now they are, so please get in touch with me at the link at the bottom of the page.

The League
It’s a league of pretty cheerful guys (and one gal), get along well with a little bit of friction now and again, and mostly mature guys with families, careers, etc. Not dull (we have a radio show some springs), but not a lot of drama either. We have guys hailing from Alaska, Kazahkstan, and Germany, along with the continental US. It’s good stuff. Several are old posters from this site who have kind of moved on. The league has an active offseason and low turnover normally - these 3 openings are unrelated, and just due to a variety of situations. We lose guys because of family and work demands, not friction.

The league is managed on the proboards site, but is played as a head to head league on Yahoo, so it’s free. There are three different auctions, followed by a 3-round minor league draft. The league is complex enough that you can win in several different ways - we have a perennial playoff contender who uses no starting pitching, we have another who uses no minor leaguers, and we have others that rely heavily on conventional pitching a deep farm system.

The Teams
Each of the three available teams is a middle-of-the pack squad, so there is no lengthy rebuilding process needed - except that their farm systems are relatively scant. There’s enough major league talent to rebuild your minors quickly, or you could take the slow route and stay in the playoff hunt.

• Team 1’s notable talent is Carlos Santana, ZEllsbury, Gio, Ryan Zimm, Danny Espinosa, and Jay Bruce.

• Team 2’s notable talent is Utley, Cahill, Howard, Tabata, and Duffy

• Team 3’s notable talent is Sabathia, Garcia, Volquez, Johan, with Kelly and Zach Lee in the minors.

Need one owner in one league ( cost around $ 150 per year) and two owners in another ( cost around $ 250 per year). Both leagues have been around for 25+ years.

Hey guys (and girls) - I posted in another thread about my league and since that post we’ve (likely) filled our two openings. However, due to the nature of these types of leagues, spots can open up sporadically at any time, so for those potentially interested, we accept waiting list applications, with those posting first having priority when spots open up. Below is some of the basic information about the league:

I currently have an opening in my 10 team dynasty money league that is entering year 7. You and another new owner would be having a 40 player expansion draft. It’s a 5 X 5 roto with 40 man rosters (25 MLB/15 minors). It’s a money league (we use leaguesafe.com) and we use CBS for hosting so $15 of the entry fee goes to the league fee. For year 1, you’d have a reduced buy in of $25. Year 2 would be $50 and year 3 would be the $100 everyone else pays. Payout is $500 for 1st, $250 for 2nd, $100 for 3rd.

Granted I’m not including closers or less flashy names like possible bounce back young guys like Pedro Alvarez, veteran guys like ichiro or even less flashy names like Corey hart or Chris young or dozens of minors guys like marisnick (that will be rostered of course).
There’s plenty of talent to be competitive right away and plenty of minor league talent to build a strong dynasty.
This league is truly year round (we do gm meetings online in the offseason). It’s ridiculously active (guys email back and forth all day regarding trades) and we even have fun stuff that we do (one year razzball featured us and mocked our draft, this year bullpen banter graded our minors systems).

Also, you pick 2nd in the expansion draft BUT you’d have #2 overall in our march draft. The march draft is first shot at international signees so you’d 100% get either cespedes or darvish (they can’t be picked in the expansion draft). I am the commissioner of a 14-team salary cap dynasty league that has a few openings. A brief summary of the league: we have 25 man rosters, 7 man minor league rosters and a salary cap of roughly $100 million (changes slightly each year depending on the avg salary of MLB teams). Player salaries correspond to the previous year’s salary, so you always know what a players salary is going to be the next year to help for planning your roster structure. Teams can keep as much of their roster from year-to-year as they like, provided they are under the cap and within the roster limits.

Entering 8th year of a 28 team dynasty league. Each team gets the minor leaguers drafted by the major league real life counterpart. The Mariners organization is available, and just about all the top Mariners prospects are owned by the FBL organization as well (No Nick Franklin, Chance Ruffin, Francisco Martinez, but have Jarrod Parker and John Mayberry Jr among others). The current MLB team has very few Mariners on it, but it is in decent shape and lots of cap space for free agency. 100M salary cap, slow auction league, rookie contracts, etc. Lots of trading and activity in the off-season.

We started in October of 2011 and already have 2 full pages of trades. We do a Dispersal Draft and a FYPD (3 rounds) each year and the fist year (coming up) has 4 rounds of Dispersal between the Cubs and Astros major and minor leagues. You also get a one time (as many players as you want) amnesty cut with no penalties. All the rosters are done already on the open teams so little initial work is needed. ACTIVE owners only.
