Early, but looks like a showdown between Walker and Pomeranz

So, who do you like, and why?

Personally, I like Pomeranz just a bit more than Walker - separated by two spots on my own list. I think Pomeranz is an ML-ready, above average lefty, #2-3 starter right now. Walker projects to be more than that, but he is still far enough away that I have to give the more finished product a slight edge.

by cookiedabookie on Nov 17, 2025 6:02 PM EST reply actions

I would think

That Turner will get into it as well. This poll is only a couple hours old, and Turner finished ahead of Pomeranz last poll.

Looks like they tied with 9 (unless someone voted late)

But it may be that Hultzen voters have moved on to Pomeranz. I know I have, along with KevinB2, ajake57, and blue bulldog so far.

someone voted late maybe

i don’t think i counted wrong.

what's the cutoff for being put in rotation

vs staying on the ballot?

somewhere around 3% or so.

it is going to keep rising as the polls move on though.

by auclairkeithbc on Nov 17, 2025 7:44 PM EST up reply actions

it is at least 2.5%

from now on. once a player is kicked off the poll at a certain percentage, no one under that percentage will stay on the poll again.

by auclairkeithbc on Nov 17, 2025 7:45 PM EST up reply actions

Ok. I'm closing this one

We’re going to do a 2 way runoff between Taijuan Walker (24 votes) and Drew Pomeranz (22 votes). Turner was a semi-close 3rd place finisher with 17 votes, but not close enough to force a 3-way runoff, especially with so few votes going to other players.
