Great list. Did you consider these guys?
Cesar Ogando
Derrick Robinson
Rey Navarro

I’m pretty excited about Ogando for some reason really liked the pick.

Derrick Robinson is not worth keeping on here… the guy doesn’t play hard, doesn’t back up his other outfielders, and just looks like he’s stagnated horrendously.

Rey Navarro is an interesting guy. Not impressed with his D at all but could end up making it. Probably an org guy in the long run.

Jeff Bianchi. I think he’s past the prospect stage. I really don’t see him having a MLB career… I think you can leave him off.

Sisk is interesting… might make the MLB pen. Who knows. I know the KC front office looks at him as having a MLB arm.

Lafferty is one you don’t have on here who might make it…. Good fastball from the left side. Older.

You think Bianchi isn't a top 50 Royals prospect?

I’m not high on him, but there aren’t 50 Royals prospects I’d rank higher.

I sure hope the Royals protect Sisk from the Rule 5 draft. I think they will.

You may know me as NYRoyal.

We're trying to bring it down to Top 20 + some

He’s probably top 50. But not worth talking about in this discussion. That’s my opinion though.

I thought he was looking to bring it down to 40-45

Bianchi would be in that group. He wouldn’t be in the top 20.

i think 40-45 get listed in the book and get writeups

he only lists the top 20 here

yeah

Yeah this is the list of guys considered for the book writeups. On the website i’ll rank top 20-25 depending on how many c+ guys there are.

by John Sickels on Oct 12, 2025 4:17 PM EDT up reply actions

My mistake.

Bianchi can be included but seems like he’s down to his last chance. If he doesn’t make it this year he might be gone. He’ll be 25 this year possibly repeating AA for the third time.

Bianchi

was recovering from TJ surgery this season. Surely the lack of power is to be expected. I don’t know if he earns a “C” but there’s still hope there for improvement.

bianchi

I see him as a Grade C but i think he can sneak up on us, at least as a utility guy. He will be in the book

by John Sickels on Oct 12, 2025 4:17 PM EDT up reply actions

surprised

He wasn’t really on my follow list when I first got to see him, but he’s on there now. I agree with John, I think he can be a very respectable utility guy. Saw him make a couple of absolutely dazzling plays at shortstop.

+1 Trapp

the others fall outside the top 35.
Adams is interesting.

How about a deep sleeper: Nicholas Cuckovich

Espinal

Was really hyped while here in in Idaho Falls, but he just looked awkward out on the field and his hitting skills didn’t stand out, even in rookie ball. I’d like to see the kid pull it together but he was really raw in 2010 - anyone see him in 2011?

by dbreer23 on Oct 12, 2025 4:35 PM EDT up reply actions

Yambati

he was a guy that flew up lists last year… but what happened this year? Injuries. Poor performance. Still mid 90’s though.

Toney is really interesting

Power and speed combo. Seems like a power packed frame. But not a good base stealer. Someone comp’d him to Ron Gant….?

I’ve always liked him. He was always doing something athletic whenever I saw him play.

Waiting for April.

I would definitely consider both Calixte and Navarro
