Story
Is overdue … can’t imagine why no love for a guy who is going to stick at SS by all accounts, is considered by many the steal of the deep 2011 draft and had a pretty nice debut with the bat.

I think it’s a little early to be annointing anyone the steal of the 2011 draft, considering some of them havent even taken the field.

I think he was just quoting BA...
Story may be a great pick from the draft, but I can hardly see one arguing that he is “overdue” as the #57 prospect.

I think this is actually too early for him
He was around the 40th ranked draft prospect last year by most sources (give or take ten spots), and not enough has happened since then for him to jump that many spots. I still like him, and have him at 73 on my hitter’s list, ahead of many players he was ranked behind on draft day (Swihart, Mathook, Susac, Bradley Jr, Michael, Goodwin, Cron, Hedges, Dickerson). But I think “overdue” at 57 is a bit of a stretch.

Trevor Story
I like him too but didn’t he end up being drafted about where expected?

Szczur vs. Williams
Not sure what people see in Szczur over Williams. Szczur has an edge in power, but Williams is a year younger and has an edge in contact and speed, and they are pretty even in defense and batting eye.
