Singleton

I think given his age/level/performance he should be in the mix. Understood the lower value of a 1B prospect and the need for the bat to really shine, but he should be in the discussion here.

+1 (except not really because i voted for taveras)

Wow, for real?

It’s your opinion & you’re more than welcome to it, but I can’t fathom Nick Castellanos over Nick Franklin at this point. Of course, I have Matt Davidson (for one) ahead of Castellanos & I can’t imagine anyone agrees with that, so carry on, my man.

by Matt0330 on Nov 22, 2025 7:22 PM EST up reply actions

Ok well maybe i'm alone on that, but its close for me thats all

I’d have Marisnick, Gose and Hak-Ju Lee all ahead of Franklin easily.

Why are you so high on Cuthbert?

You aren’t alone obviously. I’m just curious.

by auclairkeithbc on Nov 22, 2025 6:30 PM EST up reply actions

think he's got a chance to be plus with glove and plus with the bat at 3B

young, raked most of the year at Kane. got frankly some great reviews with the glove from Parks and a few others. started cleaning up his approach a bit this year. think he has a chance to be a damn good player. maybe not to dissimilar to A. Ramirez, though it’s kind of a lazy comp.

He's going to be a much much better prospect than Miguel Sano is.

Mainly because Sano is going to have to move off of 3B likely, and play RF/1B.

Cuthbert can defend, he can RUN (better than Sano) and swing it with the best of them, i’ll bet he puts Tavares’ triple slash line to shame next season, (athough Oscar could be up a level on him)
Plus I think strongly Cuthbert could end up with plus power, and at least 60, 65 grade.

Rymer Liriano

Where do you guys see him fitting in? Might be a bit early, but I have him in the 30-40 range.

by BryceHarper on Nov 22, 2025 7:15 PM EST up reply actions

Right now

I have him around 60 overall, mid 30’s for positional prospects. Pretty exciting/intriguing prospect.

Can you elaborate

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going."

by BenMc5 on Nov 23, 2025 8:01 PM EST up reply actions

Two guys I thought would get more love at this point...

are Yelich and Marisnick. They both have great sets of all around tools/ skills, both had awesome performances this season, and should provide plenty of defensive value (even if they don’t end up playing CF, they should be plus at a corner position). I’d guess they probably aren’t being given a ton of helium because they haven’t played above A ball, but they are my next two based on the all around package they provide.

by brok515 on Nov 23, 2025 3:23 PM EST up reply actions

Awesome huh brok?

i’m not denying that. I’m just wondering what superlative you reserve for Taveras’s even more-awesomer performance? :) I’ve heard him projected as a plus corner guy too. Neither guy is younger than Taveras and, neither hit as well.

by casejud on Nov 23, 2025 4:57 PM EST up reply actions

I like Oscar plenty

and would have no problem with him getting on at this point also. Oscar is almost certainly the better pure hitter, but I wonder if he will add the same kind of defensive value and value on the basepaths that these other guys will. I probably prefer Yelich and Marisnick more due to their overall package, but I agree that Oscar is a heck of a prospect.

And for the record, I own Oscar in a fantasy league, so I hope you are right about him ;)

by brok515 on Nov 23, 2025 5:14 PM EST up reply actions

Lol, me too

I’m not exactly certain Yelich is exactly faster than Taveras but, I could be wrong. He swiped 32 bags but, I’ve red reports that he doesn’t run great. The video I’ve seen he doesn’t look particularily fast either. Taveras actually runs pretty well from what I have heard and, seen.

I don’t own any of them in either league I am in but, they aere all available in our drafts that are coming up. I’d be happy to have any/all of the three.
