Really? What is your argument for that statement?

Ignore him. He's a troll.
He accused Pomeranz of having makeup issues in a previous voting thread.

Pomeranz does scare me a little though
I’ve mentioned this before, and I admit it’s a small sample size, but the big difference between strikeout percentage and swinging strikeout percentage at AA makes me pause a little. The difference in A+ wasn’t as big, but it was also noticeable.

Pomeranz easily here
MLB ready pitcher, #2(or higher) upside vs. a high upside hitter that hasn’t made it to full season ball yet. Not too tough a choice.

WoW
We are agree on something! I’ve been very suppportive of kids like Iike Stanton and Nick Franklin, who have struck out a ton at very young ages the past couple of years. However the MWL and the SAL are not the same as the APPY league.

I say Pomeranz, Turner, then Sano

Sano beats out Turner for me personally
By three spots on my overall list
by cookiedabookie on Nov 23, 2025 3:42 PM EST up reply actions
I have Turner pretty far down on my list actually
I definitely like Sano and Alonso much much more than I like Turner. I have a few pitchers that I’d prefer to Turner as well, and some hitters after Alonso, but Lindor? Not so sure.

Why?
I’m curious why you have Turner down so far. He’s close to ready and projects to be a #2(though I think we could see some ace type years from him). Sano is so far away still, and while I like him quite a bit there is plenty that could go wrong between now and then.

Well I don't think Turner is all that great a prospect
I guess I see him as a really really weak B+, and Sano is very strong B+. Do I think Turner could become a #2 starter? Yeah, maybe, but I sort of doubt it. I’m just don’t think he has a huge ceiling and not a really high floor either. I’d take Parker, Paxton, Delgado, and Carlos Martinez over him. I might give Turner the nod over Erlin, but I’m not so sure.

I thought he was really overrated coming into last season too
And if he put up really impressive numbers, I might have changed my mind, but his numbers definitely didn’t wow me at all.

why does Turner project to a No. 2?
he’s pretty far down for me as well. looks like a back-end guy.
