Bryce Harper Debut Discussion Thread

So today is the big day, BRYCE HARPER MAJOR LEAGUE DEBUT DAY. And, of course, since the universe is disgruntled with me, I am traveling to visit family and will probably miss the whole thing.

Use this thread to discuss Harper's debut. What do you think will happen? My guess/prediction below the fold.

Star-divide

I predict that Harper will go 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout. The Washington Nationals will beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by a 4-2 score.

Nats win 3-1, Stras stikes out 12 over 7

Well, close enough

Stras went 7 and gave up the 1er but only stuck out 9.

trout

Trout was promoted after I went to bed last night, so I didn’t have anything scheduled. I will get something up about him shortly.

1-for-5 with a strikeout, Nats win anyway

Sad to think that would represent a significant increase in production from the Nats LF position.

Anybody see the kid mooning when the wave went by?

2 seconds before Harper’s first hit. It’s going to be on every highlight of his first hit forever. Hilarious
