As stated in MOD #2, I'm liking the guys on the mound a little more than position players for my picks at 28 and 29: ARMS If any of the following fall, I will most likely choose them: Ian Anderson, Braxton Garrett, Jordan Sheffield and maybe Matt Manning. I would of stated Joey Wentz but Keith Law is reporting a recent drop in velocity? We shall no doubt see if there's anything more to that in the coming weeks. The upside is pretty high in all these and it would prove difficult to pass on any of them. Other guys I'm liking and perhaps more realistic picks are: Connor Jones, Logan Shore, Forrest Whitley, Eric Lauer and Justin Dunn. None have the upside of the previous group but all seem pretty safe bets to make the majors. The two wildcards I'm having a deep look at are Cal Quantrill and Jesus Luzardo. Obviously the Nationals have drafted injured pitchers with upside in recent years (Giolito and Fedde) and that outcome could reoccur this year, both in the real draft and our community mock draft.
