Finals week is over, which means that I can finally write some more MODs
So for this MOD I'm gonna go over which guys that I'm thinking of drafting for the Brewers' 2nd round pick at pick #46. This time around it's more difficult to get a feel for who's gonna be around that long because there's still a month before the draft begins and a lot can happen before then.
Now to cut to the chase, here are some guys I'm thinking of:
Justin Dunn, RHP- He's at least got a feel for 4 pitches, with the ability to light up radar guns with his fastball. Needs to work on his command, but with his outstanding stuff he could provide more pitching upside for the Brewers farm system
Sean Murphy, C- The Brewers are thin on catchers within their farm system, and it would be beneficial to stockpile some through the draft. Murphy has the ability to stay behind the plate, highlighted by a very strong arm. There's still some questions about his bat, but if he can improve upon that the Brewers may have a solid catching prospect on their hands
Chris Okey, C- Has the tools to be a solid catching prospect, and while his arm isn't as flashy as Murphy's, there's less questions about his bat.
Matt Krook, LHP- Another position the Brewers have been lacking in their farm system is left-handed pitching. Krook provides solid stuff but has had consistency issues before. If he can iron that out, he can be a solid LHP for the Brewers in the future.
Those are all I can think of right now, if you guys can think of any other suggestions, feel free to comment and discuss.
