for thurs/fri could you do something about Latin American players?

maybe some who were signed, or some who are already in America?
OR could you do a piece on the Dominican League and some guys from there?

WOW Thought of coming here

To suggest something similar, never would have thought someone would suggest the same.

I would like to see something like your top 10 Latin prospects or something like miketrout suggested.

Smackdown suggestions:

I can think of a few smackdowns:

Oscar Taveras versus Eddie Rosario
Gary Brown versus Jake Marisnick

+1 taveres vs rosario

One other ...

In your last all questions answered, I asked (and somebody else did too), about the top short stops in the minors who aren’t named Machado, Lee, and Profar. I’m curious who you think is at #4, #5, #6, etc..

Thanks, John. This is a great site to read.

woud love to hear your opinion on the top 5 or ten systems.

for me it would be: Padres, Rays, Yankees, Royals, Nats, Braves, Cards, D-Backs, with the Rockies, Pirates, Rangers, and Mariners taking up the ;ast two spots

The onlly 11- year old who likes the Pirates and does posts on Bucs Dugout!

ehh....guess you could put them....

They dont really have any impact players other than D’Arnaud….I suppose you could make a case for Gose, but he hasnt really done much this year.

Aaron Sanchez is a good prospect and showed good percpihels and Deck McGuire also showed some impressive numbers in single A but struggled in AA(albeit in only 20 ip)

I just odnt think they match up with other teams studs

I don’t think you know the Jays system well.

the Jays have arguably the best farm in baseball

Never too early...

Never too early to start talking about the famous “list”!!!
Player that were outside your top 100 that could crack it this year!

Top 10

Risers and fallers of the year? Maybe the 10 biggest leaps in the minors and 10 that lost a lot of thier luster (Wilmer Flores I’m looking directly at you)

Struggling former top prospects

Travis Snider, Brian Matusz types. Gordon Beckham, maybe Homer Bailey?

Not the abject failures, nor those on a clear road to success, but those whose ultimate character is still up in the air.

Derek Holland

I’ve been impressed him with this year & feel like he’s made a tangible leap forward. He’s been pretty good (I really don’t even need the ‘pretty’ in my opinion) & he’s not even 25.

Sure, I think i know what you’re getting at as far as consistency start-by-start at certain points during the season but I think there’s quite a distance between he & Brian Matusz for example.

Long time reader, first time poster

I would be very interested to see any note worthy information (good or bad) on performances from the 2011 draftees who played in the minors this year. Obviously due to the small sample size there is no reason to freak out about any performance but I’m sure a few players did things (once again good or bad) that are worth talking about. X player looked bad in a league he should have dominated in or Y player’s secondary pitches looked better than advertised. Keep up the great work and GO TWINS!
