Anyone still drafting for roto/fantasy? If so, here's a deep AL Draft...
I don't know who's interested in this stuff still but if you need some names for AL only drafts, here you go. My league's annual draft was held this weekend, here are the results.
Quick background, 8 teams, full keeper, 20 farm spots, use real MLB salaries with salary cap (avg. AL team salary), most teams had 2-3 major leaguers to draft and 8-10 minor leaguers.

Mike Trout
I feel like I’m missing something about him. I get that he’s quite fast and has makeup up the wazoo, but I don’t really understand why people think he can be a really good baseball player. For a guy to be an impact player without average power, he has to do everything else right - Trout walks, but not a ton. He doesn’t strike out a lot, but not zero either. He seems like a Ben Revere with worse plate discipline who’s even further away. Am I not getting something?

Trout
Well, I was actually the guy that took Trout, so I should probably be able to explain the thought process behind it. I think you may be selling him a bit short with the Revere comparison in terms of power. I don’t see Revere ever generating enough power to be close to average. Some reports have Trout potentially generating 20 HR power. A plus defensive 20/20 CF has tremendous value. Also, saying he has worse plate discipline than Revere isn’t accurate.
