The ace stuff plus being close to the majors and having an amazing statistical year, I think he should be higher. Alonso hit well, but not amazingly well, and I hate when people bring up majors stats when they only have like 100 Pa’s, that’s way too small of a sample size. According to Clay Davenport’s FRAA at claydavenport.com, Alonso is a very bad fielding 1st baseman at -12 FRAA. Paxton wins easily here.
