Notable Grade Changes
Some grade changes of note:
Eric Hosmer: Grade A- to Grade B+. Want to see some full-season numbers.
Shooter Hunt: Grade B to Grade B-: To be more consistent with other grades, and due to control problems. Considering further reduction to C+.
Kevin Mulvey: Grade B- to Grade C+: To be more consistent with other grades in the book.

Hunt...
shouldn’t be lower than B-. He has a lot of potential and did pretty good in the time he was in the minors.

No control
Hunt basically beat up on a bunch of rookie ball kids for 4 starts. When moved to the age-appropriate MWL, he had a good K rate but otherwise basically stunk up the joint (5.13 FIP, 27 BB, 34Ks in 31 innings). Considering control was a red flag for him going into the draft, this wasn’t encouraging even as a small sample size.

dont think he should down grade him again to C+.

Hosmer
I thought the A- ranking for Hosmer seemed far too aggressive considering he really didn’t get a chance to prove anything as a professional yet. As a 1b, his bat needs to be truly elite in order for him to merit that kind of grade, and it’s good that you decided to make him “prove it” somewhat before ranking him that highly.

+1
Love him - but it would be inconsistent to give him an A at this juncture

i agree on all three
didn’t see why hosmer justifies an a- to, say, josh vitters b+, so i like this. i think mulvey is better than, say, mitch atkins (since I’m a cubs fan it is easier to reference them), but not by that much, so i like the c+. b- for hunt sounds fine for now.
