My main project this weekend is a revision of the Top 200 MLB Prospects for 2017. I hope to have this done by Monday afternoon. Click here for the original list published back on the 27th of February.
The revised list will account for significant events such as Alex Reyes’ elbow injury and will also reflect changes in my thinking about particular players over the last month.
Here’s an opportunity to have your voice heard. Who do you think should be significantly higher (or lower) on the list than they were on February? Think more in terms of tiers than exact placements. I’m not looking for quibbles about someone you think should be ranked 76th instead of 68th, but am more interested in guys who deserve a large upgrade (Lucas Erceg could be one example) or downgrade (how far should Reyes drop due to the injury?).
It is easy to over-react to spring performances, but sometimes they can show a genuine change in a player’s approach. Tell us who you like, or don’t like, as the case may be.
