After last round's very close match up eventually won by Tanaka over Betts, it comes as no surprise that Betts wins this round easily (End of the first tier?). Twenty five points for Betts to eight for Gregory Polanco. Springer gets four points. Three for Javier Baez and Jake deGrom (write in). Two for Yordano Ventura. One each for Taveras and Stroman. Zero for Danny Santana and Joe Panik.
1. Jose Abreu 1b Chicago White Sox
2. Xander Bogaerts SS/3B Boston Red Sox
3. Masahiro Tanaka Pitcher New York Yankees
4. Mookie Betts 2b/OF Boston Red Sox
We'll drop Santana and Panik this round and get them back soon. We'll get Nick Castellanos back on the ballot, leaving as temporarily dropped:
Colin McHugh 0 votes (round 2), James Paxton 0 votes (round 2), Jake Odorizzi 0 votes (round 3), Kevin Gausman 0 votes (round 3), Joe Panik 0 votes (round 4), Danny Santana 0 votes (round 4)
I'll leave on everyone who got a vote last round including write in Jake deGrom, who was due to be added anyway. I'll also add Rougned Odor.
Players who are still on the list to get their first time on the ballot in the next few rounds are Billy Hamilton, Dellin Betances, Ken Giles and Travis d"Arnaud. Please suggest others in the discussion section.
As a reminder voting is by +1 for your first choice and +2 for your second choice.
