Also receiving multiple votes were Xander Bogaerts with 22% of the vote and Mookie Betts with 17% of the vote.
On the ballot and getting just one vote were Masahiro Tanaka and Gregory Polanco. Receiving a single write in vote are Joe Panik and Danny Santana. On the ballot but not receiving any votes in the first round were Nick Castellanos, Jake Odorizzi, Oscar Taveras and Marcus Stroman.
1. Jose Abreu, 1b Chicago White Sox
For the second round, back on the ballot will be everyone who was on the first time and got a vote, plus Nick Castellanos. We'll also add Joe Panik (who got a vote last round), plus, for their first time on the ballot, George Springer, Colin McHugh and James Paxton.
Temporarily Dropped: Marcus Stroman, 0 votes (first round), Oscar Taveras 0 votes (first round), Jake Odorizzi 0 votes (first round). These guys will be rotated back in very quickly, all within the next 2 rounds.
Voting in this round and all following rounds will be by +1 and +2. Please vote twice with a +1 for your first choice and a +2 for your second choice.
Testers in the next couple of rounds will be: Rougned Odor, Danny Santana, Jake deGrom and Kevin Gausman. Please suggest others who you think deserve consideration in the top 10.
So, who do you believe has the second best future in store among last year's rookie class?.
