10 team Keeper League, I can only keep 7

Braun, J. Upton, Mike Stanton, Ellsbury, Trout, Ackley, Starlin Castro, Bryce Harper, Kershaw, Lester, Gallardo, Bumgarner.

Who should I keep? Factor in me being a huge Brewer fan, haha. You can keep guys forever and through some trades, I own 6 of the first 20 draft picks next spring.

Thanks!

of those...

You have to keep Stanton and Harper and Upton. Its not unlikely that you’d have 3 of the top 10 power hitters in the game for the next 5 years.

I’d definitely keep kershaw, and probably bumgarner as well.

I’d try to trade Ellsbury after his last season.
I’d keep Braun, despite the likely suspension.

That would leave me with a choice of castro vs ackley for the final spot.
I tend to be optimistic with Ackley, but if your league doesn’t count OBP I’d go Castro.

I'd keep trout over castro and ackley to be honest

I’m not optimistic that castro can hit 20+ hrs consistently. I think he’s a 15-20 hr with good average.

I think trout can be an absolute monster going 30-30 consistently with a 320+ average. he’s that good

7 Keepers

Braun, J. Upton, Mike Stanton, Ellsbury, Trout, Bryce Harper, and Kershaw.

If we had to change one of those seven, we’d drop Ellsbury (who may never hit as well again) and keep Bumgarner (who we think is headed in the right direction and will be a long-term asset).
