Which prospect would you rather own?
For their entire career.
This is for a 16-team H2H dynasty league. Standard 5x5 categories.
21 prospects owned per team.
My other shortstops are Bonifacio, Scutaro, Andino, and Joe Panik.
At 2B, I've got Cano, Sizemore, Reese Havens, and Scooter Gennett.
My other pitching prospects are Tyler Thornburg, Kyle Lotzkar, Matt Purke, Dillon Maples, Chad Jenkins and Aaron Sanchez.
Dozier is closest to the Majors, although Valdespin could also get a look in 2012, but Michael and Adam have more long-term upside. Which prospect has the most value?

This is what passes for a fan post nowadays?
Can you at least give us some info on your fantasy league since this obviously relates to that?

Actually you edited your fan post
Your initial post was useless as it didn’t provide any context.

Adam
would be my choice. Adam and Michael stand out above the other two. Dozier and Valdespin both profile as utility guys to me. Valdespin is much toolsier, but I think I’d prefer Dozier’s ability to control the strikezone. Comparing those two is an interesting question. I like Adam over Michael because I’ve never bought Michael as a SS no matter what the Twins say. He also isn’t a big guy and won’t be hitting many HRs, nor does he really have standout speed and he won’t be stealing many bases. In terms of fantasy impact abilities, I don’t really buy Michael as a good option.
In fact, to sum up, the only one of the four I see as having a chance to be an above average fantasy option at their position is Adam. Unfortunately he also has one of the highest chances of being a bust for you. Michael will be a steady, solid, non-zero option for you, but isn’t exciting at all. Dozier is a lesser version of Michael who will help even less in most fantasy categories but you’re pretty much guaranteed to get something from him - and this year. Valdespin doesn’t really have a high ceiling but could end up producing decent fantasy stats, but its a real question mark if he ever figures it out.
