Q & A with Trevor May on Reddit

At least we're pretty sure it's him, based on what he's given away thus far. Has some interesting stuff to say... he also does not know what sabermetrics are. And says 80% of players on his minor league team (or in minor league baseball in general) use dip. And I'm just filling up words since you can see all this for yourselves.

So, how the hell has Trevor May never heard of Fangraphs?

Or, even more unbelievable, sabermetrics as a whole?

Because he is a professional baseball player

. . . not a geek, like most of us. Most people haven’t heard of Fangraphs.

No Kidding

Sometimes after reading one of the ‘articles’ on there that inevitably comes off like the written compenent of a not so well written junior college Statistics 101 project, I wish I was amongst those who hadn’t heard of it.

I read this document. I wish there was an easy internet location from which I could share information on which such documents I’ve read? Hmmm.

Trevor May seems like an engaging guy from this. I was a fan of him as a prospect; I’ll root for him a little more now.
