2011 Division Series Playoff Discussion Thread
Use this thread to discuss Sunday's 2011 Division Series Playoff Games.
I've decided that the two teams I am rooting for this year are the Milwaukee Brewers (because they are from the Midwest and because I want to see how Zack Greinke performs in the post-season) and the Tampa Bay Rays (because they aren't the Yankees). I realize a Brewers/Rays series would not exactly be ideal from the point of view of network executives looking for a big ratings boost, but I don't care.

Lol nah
You don’t know it yet, but you’re actually rooting for the DBacks.

Brewers
They are my pick for this year. I like how they used their farm system to put a winner on the field. IMO that’s how baseball is suppose to work, you use the farm to help the big team win. sometimes that means developing players and other times that means trading them for already developed players. It would be nice to see a team who gave up a lot actually get rewarded, because the loss of Lawrie, Jeffress, Odorizzi and others will haunt them for the next 10 years otherwise.

I think the Brewers are the team to beat right now
Phillies got the pitching, but not sold on the offense. I don’t thing the Rays get by Texas, nor do I see the Yankees getting past the Tigers at this point. I can’t see either one of those teams taking down the Brewers, nor can I see NYY doing it should they by some form of magic get to the WS. Ah, what a good feeling right now to be called crazy for picking the Brewers for the Central before the season.
Let's trade Reddick for Heyward!

I'm kind of stuck in the paradox of rooting against the front runners
but than not caring very much when we end up with Rangers/Giants type of matchups. I’m hoping that either the Brewers or Rays win it all still.
