Maybin vs. Fowler

I know some of you don't like Fantasy-related questions on here, so this can be taken any way you want, but I just want to get people's thoughts on Cameron Maybin vs Dexter Fowler. I'm in a Dynasty League and have both players, but somebody just dropped Carlos Beltran (not a very smart league), so I'm going to try to pick him up off of waivers. I would drop one of either Maybin or Fowler to do so. So, my question is this - who would you drop to pick up Beltran? Also, what do you guys/girls project for Maybin and Fowler both in their peak years and 'average' years?

you could’ve just said ‘no’… i must have momentarily forgotten yr love for him. at least I got him in John’s league… so my Fowler appetite is somewhat satisfied

I see him as having fewer HRs but more SBs than that. Also, I haven’t heard ANYTHING about Maybin recently, other than the fact that he’s having a good (if not great) spring, though without power.

Fowler's Huge

6’4 180 something if I remember correctly. I think by the time he’s 27 he’ll be more of a power threat than a speed guy. I’m probably OVERPROJECTING the speed.

6-4 180 is huge?

Don’t get me wrong, I hope the power comes, but he’s a beanpole (MLB.com says he’s 6-4, 190, and even 10 pounds over what you say he’s still scrawny). Sure, it’s possible to imagine him bulking up a bit and slowing down a bit but he actually lost weight getting ready for this season because he felt like he was carrying too much weight last year.

He's Going to Bulk Up

I’m not an expert at the body comparisons, but I can see him at 210/220 by the time he’s 30.
