Introducing a New SB Nation Fantasy Game: Pick Six

Pick6-logo-large_medium

We have a new feature going live today all across the SB Nation Network: a new fantasy game called Pick 6.

Pick 6 is a daily pick'em game that pits you against other members of Minor League Ball and the entire SB Nation network.

Each day, users can choose six players to fill out their daily roster: a catcher, corner infielder, middle infielder, outfielder, starting pitcher, and relief pitcher.

The twist? Each user only has $120 of imaginary money to spend per day, and each player has a different cost. Player values are determined by their production and their popularity in Pick 6.

Successful users will strike a balance between expensive players and under-the-radar talent to take their lineup to the next level. Since this is a daily game there is no draft, no lengthy sign-up process - just you competing against fellow blog members for bragging rights.

It only takes a couple minutes to Pick your 6. Go to the top left side of this blog and click on "Play Now" on the Pick 6 widget. Come back during and after games to see how you and your friends did.

For more information on how to play and how scores are calculated, please go to the Rules page.

Good luck and Play Ball!

fantasy

I’m not a big fantasy player at all, but I like this one and that isn’t SB Nation propaganda, lol

lineups locked in!!!

The dollar values seem a little quirky at this point . . .I ended up with $26.00 left on the table.

I agree...

I had $19 left over and felt like I was leaving something on the table. But there’s some really good options for $0.50. I’d take about anyone over Soto at $16.00 though.

rules

The rules state that the prices will adjust once a week to incorporate performance and frequency of a given player’s selection for a lineup. So I guess things might be a little weird for this week, but then the market should quickly even out as undervalued players get nabbed.
