2011 World Series Game Six Prediction and Discussion

Will the Cardinals stay alive tonight and push the World Series to Game Seven?

I've been predicting St. Louis in seven games all along, so I will stick with that and predict that the Redbirds will defeat the Texas Rangers tonight 6-3.

What say you?

same situation with my Halos in '02

Down 3-2 against the Giants and they came back and won the last 2. Im hoping the Cards do the same.

I predict . . . . .

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again.

Garcia v. Colby Lewis

Produced a great pitching matchup in game 2, and I see no reason why it would not be more of the same tonight. I think the Cards force game 7 with a 3-2 victory tonight.

Too bad

no Game 5 post was made. Anyone know if there’s a gif of the moment in the game where TLR slammed both hands on top of his cap and staggered backward goggle-eyed crying “Ohhhh!!!” after that ball caromed off Rzep’s knee? I could only rewind my digital cable so many times before having to move on to game action.

Really?!

Have got to check this out when I get him. Thanks for the confirm. My wife will be thrilled.

To be fair, the highlights of Wash were pretty hilarious too. The guy did the pee pee dance every time something broke the Rangers’ way, and he has an uncanny resemblance to a dog when he’s excited. I swore he was wagging an invisible tail when Napoli drove in those runs.

Wow

Fun game to watch, but some really sloppy play by both teams. Washington really mismanaged his pitchers imo. Bringing in a guy who’d walked five guys in two WS innings (Ogando) with the bases loaded was playing with fire — imagine if he’s just brought in Holland from the get-go — and I have no idea why he stuck with Oliver. I was thinking he’d ignore match-ups and just bring in Feldmann there. It’s all moot if Feliz just does his job…

Great game for the Cards. Never say die!
