Naw, he'd start for a showcase appearance
since you never know when you’re going to get into the game as a reliever. I read that the front office felt Chacin was a little more grounded and mature, not that Rogers isn’t, but perhaps more ready to handle the assignment. … Chacin warmed up in the bottom of the sixth and I was excited thinking that I was going to see him pitch in the top of the seventh against the Giants, but the Rockies made it closer and Rincon was sent into the game instead. Gah!
