With the Draft wrapping up, and lots of guys yet un-signed I thought i'd put out a mostly current mid-season list
Many soon to be graduates included, but some like P Daniel Mengden, for example, are not included.
Feel free to notify of any obscurities, massive omissions or in-proper placements in the comments below Thanks!
1. Julio Urias**- With an MLB trial run starting up, to me the consensus #1 prospect. Moncada giving him a run, But Urias too dominate in PCL at 19!
2. Yoan Moncada - Well this is fun isn't it? A Daily looker / Box Score Flag He's tearing up Adv. A for Salem doing a little bit of everything.
3. Dansby Swanson- The most impressive thing is going from A+ to AA he kept the BB: K rate Over 1.5 again and not suprisingly shown uptick in .Iso.
4. Lucas Giolito - His Struggles at AAA tend to have me more worried that maybe I should be, however if he's not hurt or working on specifics it
Could be troublesome.
5. Alex Bregman - SS, 3B? , Corner Outfielder? There is plenty of room for Bregman in Houston and highlighting his unorthodoxed swing garnering him a
1.75 - BB : K ratio.
6. Tyler Glasnow - Neal Huntington has an embarrassment of riches on the pitching side and Glasnow should lead the way into #2 slot behind Cole.
7. Joey Gallo** - The often times enagmatic Gallo has just needed to stay healthy and find a position in Arlington to be a potential HR king for
all of Rangers' history (Juan Gonzalez 372, Raffy Palmeiro 321).
8. Ozzie Albies - A personal favorite of mine, Imagine Ben Revere coming up through the Minors as a Short-stop only with a nearly +.100 Iso It
would be an Ongoing War of Words here at minor league ball.
9. JP Crawford - To many a sure bet and a top 3-5 prospect overall, but his slowish start has me dropping him some only b/c I think Phills should
take a slower approach with him; Just as I do with Red Sox and Anderson Espinoza.
10. Trea Turner** - Destroying International Lg. for nearly 2 months now, had his up and downs. Only Q? I have left can he be long term SS?

* I started this list around Mid May of this season, with that said, where would OF Micky Moniak , LHP AJ Puk , and 3B Nick Senzel rate for you?
I think Moniak top 30 , Puk top 50 and Senzel top 60 or so for starters all fairly easily...
I like what Oakland, Cleveland, Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay did in the draft.
