Hello everybody, welcome back to the Minor League Ball Gameday. As long as my schedule allows it, I will try to throw this up early in the day and fill out the sections as the day progresses. Be sure to check back frequently to see the new additions throughout the day.
I would like to start today by expressing my condolences to the Gwynn family as the greatest San Diego Padre and possibly one of the greatest hitters in the game, Tony Gwynn, passed this morning due to mouth cancer. Gwynn was the consummate pro, and was also one of the greatest people off the field the put on a uniform. I feel blessed to have grown up watching him wear out the hole between short and third. Rest In Peace Tony Gwynn, you were truly one of the greats.
