Glendale 4 - Peoria 1
Quick recap -
RHP Zach Davies (GDD) took the bump for the Desert Dogs and delivered five scoreless innings, walking two and allowing a pair of base hits while also striking out four. LHP Mike Thomas (GDD) earned the win though after blowing the save with a run allowed on one hit, one walk, and one strike out in two innings. RHP Mitch Harris (PEJ) took the loss allowing two runs on three hits in his one inning of relief. 3B Garabez Rosa (GDD) led the way for Glendale with a three hit performance, knocking a double and two singles that drove home one and he also scored once. SS Tim Anderson (GDD) and LF Scott Schebler (GDD) also doubled and singled. 2B Daniel Castro (PEJ) had the only extra base hit for Peoria, roping a double while DH Cody Stanley (PEJ) drove in the only run of the game for the Javelinas.

Scottsdale 7 - Mesa 5
Quick recap -
RF Aaron Judge (SCO) went to town, launching a pair of two-run home runs, also working a walk and striking out. LF Tyler Austin (SCO) kicked in three singles and his third stolen base of the Fall while CF Roman Quinn (SCO) stole two more bases to lead the league with 12. Quinn also tripled, drove in two and walked twice, scoring two times. On the other side of the ball, LF Jacob Hannemann (MSS) drove in three with a pair of doubles and an outfield assist to boot. CF Dalton Pompey (MSS) stole two bases, reaching on a walk, a single, and a triple, and RF Chad Hinshaw (MSS) swiped a pair as well and scored once. RHP Tyler Glasnow (SCO) earned the win with 3.2 innings of work, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks. He stuck out two and threw a wild pitch as well. RHP Nefi Oganfo (SCO) got his third save despite allowing a run in the 9th on two hits.

Surprise 5 - Salt River 4
Quick recap -
C John Hicks (SUR) tallied three hits in the Saguaros come from behind win, launching the game tying home run in the top of the 9th. He also doubled and singled, finishing a triple shy of the cycle. 2B Jace Peterson (SUR) was on base three times and drove in one with a double and two walks. LF Jesse Winker (SUR) plated a pair with a single and a strike out while CF Mallex Smith (SUR) doubled, singled, walked and scored two runs with a fielding error. SS Michael De Leon (SUR) had a nearly identical stat line to Smith, without booting a ball in the field. 2B Trevor Story (SRR) hit his league-leading seventh and eighth double, scoring once and also coaxing a walk. 3B Rio Ruiz (SRR) brought in a pair of runs with two sacrifice flies, and C Peter O'Brien (SRR) drove in one with a double and a single, scoring once and striking out twice. Neither starter factored in the decision with RHP Stephen Landazuri (SUR) lasting four innings with three runs (two earned) allowed on four hits and a walk, striking out four with a wild pitch as well. LHP Jayson Aquino (SRR) tossed five innings, surrendering eight hits and a walk which resulted in three runs scoring with four strike outs as well and a balk. RHP Aaron Kurcz (SUR) earned the win with two perfect innings of relief, striking out three while RHP Brandon Alger (SUR) got the save with a spotless 9th, punching out one. RHP Kaleb Fleck (SRR) went home with the loss and a blown save, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks, including a home run in one inning of work.
