Massive Trade w/ 2 Packages of Prospects- Which Side Wins?

In a new,. 20 team dynasty league that I just joined, this enormous trade just went down. The league is a H2H, 5x5 scoring with the following categories- AVG, OBP, HR, R, RBI, ERA, WHIP, K/9, QS, W. The rosters are large and teams are able to own a maximum of 8 prospects, or a minimum of 6. I found this deal very intriguing and think it could go either way, which side would y'all choose?

Package A, "Bundy Side"-

Dylan Bundy

Jedd Gyorko

Will Middlebrooks

Brandon Nimmo

Package B, "Cole Side"-

Gerrit Cole

Josh Bell, Pit

Robbie Erlin

Garin Cecchini

Any and all opinions appreciated, thanks!

Looks fine to me.

Why does someone have to “win” a trade anyway? A “tie” is perfectly acceptable.

Fans are typically idiots.

A tie is the goal

But usually, opinion sides with one side slightly even in the fairest of deals for whatever reason. I found this trade to be quite even myself, I just thought it might lead to some interesting discussion.

Also, a correction-

The league scoring is 6×6, with the above categories with SB and SV as well. How could I forget those?

Bundy Side

Its not far from even but I do prefer the Bundy Side. I like Bundy more than Cole. I like Bell as the 3rd best prospect in the deal. I then like Middlebrooks and Nimmo a lot more than either Erlin or Cecchini. So like I said its close but I love Bundy and am super high on Nimmo with Middlebrooks being a very nice looking prospect as well.

It's super close

comes down to personal leanings on extremely comparable prospects. I like the Bundy side, personally, because I like Bundy a bit better than Cole, and I prefer Nimmo/Middlebrooks to Erlin/Cecchini. Though I like Bell a lot, as well. It’s a very narrow choice for me.

Bundy Side

Bundle the facts that Bundy is my favorite prospect in baseball, I have already grown to love Nimmo as a Mets fan (I’m admitting bias), and I think Bell has gotten a tiny bit more hype than he deserves at this point and I’ll take the Bundy group.

Slight favor for the second deal. I’m a big cecchini fan, and the two best hitters are in the second deal.

Thanks for the opinions guys

I’ve gone back and forth on it as well. I tend to lean the way of the Cole side personally, I see Cole and Bundy as pretty equal. Nimmo, while he possesses a lot of upside, is a total wild card and in a league where only around 140 prospects are owned, he’s replaceable. I think he’s great, but I slightly prefer Cecchini in the AVG/OBP environment. Bell offers massive upside as we all know, and I really like Erlin as a fantasy asset in Petco, especially with QS in the equation. Then again, Gyorko has a great profile in the league’s scoring also. It’s going to be very interesting to look back on in a few years, that’s for sure.
