Fernando Martinez Community Projection Results

We only had ten entries in the Fernando Martinez Community Projection. I thought this one would get a lot of interest, but enthusiasm for this project seems to be waning. Here are the results:

Star-divide

69 games, 232 at-bats, 30 runs, 63 hits, 13 doubles, 2 triples, 8 homers, 20 walks, 48 strikeouts, 6 steals, 2 caught stealing .272/.334/.442.

Comparing this to other projections:

Minor League Ball:      .272/.334/.442 in 232 at-bats, .776 OPS
PECOTA Mean Proj.:  .268/.317/.439 in 452 plat ap, .756 OPS
Fangraphs Fans:           .274/.326/.426 in 276 at-bats, .752 OPS
Bill James Projection:  .259/.308/.424 in 478 at-bats, .732 OPS
Marcel Projection:       .251/.323/.399 in 250 at-bats, .722 OPS
CHONE Projection:     .254/.307/.399 in 313 at-bats, .706 OPS
ZIPS                             .251/.297/.406 in 358 at-bats, .703 OPS

In this case, the Minor League Ball Community projection is the most optimistic. I find it interesting that the Fangraphs Fans projection, which works the same way as this community projection (but had a lot more entries) is also optimistic. My own personal projection is .265/.320/.415.

I think it's optimistic

on IsoD and AB. The rest of the projection seems good.
