Javier Solano should be on there
He is borderline top 20.

Without question.

Also, these guys wouldn’t crack the top 20, but are worth a mention and probably fit into top 40:
Nick Akins
Shawn Tolleson
Justin Sellers
Russ Mitchell
Javy Guerra
Geison Aguasviva

Despite his poor season in 2010
I don’t think Josh Lindblom should be left out completely of the top 40

Two other names
Jamie Hoffmann, Jamie Pedroza

room
I have room for one but not both. will go with pedroza. younger, more interesting.

That's a fair point, I agree
Seems like Hoffmann’s ship’s already sailed perhaps, though it also speaks to the organization’s newfound system depth that he’d, and some of these other guys, get pushed back that far down.

Well compared to where the Dodger system was a couple of years ago
or even last year, yes they have much better depth. Not a lot of A prospects but a longer list of very solid potential future ML-ers compared to where they were.

if you need a name to cut
you can start with Bobby Coyle. maybe a top 50 guy, but not top 40

Who's #1?
Lee
Gordon
Sands
Robinson
I vote for Gordon, but wouldn’t have an issue with Lee. I see lee moving through the system fast….similar path as Kershaw.

I have Robinson and Gordon back to back on my positional prospect list at 28 and 29.
Slight edge to Trayvon, but just based on a gut feeling at this point. I was a huge supporter of Dee last year, and still like him.

Dee Gordon with relative ease for me

ZIPS
I found it interesting that Dan projected Gordon to steal 52 bases in 2011 in the bigs….I know he won’t be up till at least 2012, but projecting him to steal that many bases in his rookie year is quite impressive. Is my assumption that ZIPs is projecting for big league time correct?

Those are MLB projections
But, ZiPS doesn’t project playing time. I believe the program bases the number of games/ABs solely on the player’s history.
