considering the recent news of Courtney Love losing custody of Francis Bean.
Anyone ever buy into the theory that Jurt Cobain wrote this whole album? I generally don’t buy most or any Kurt Cobain conspiracy theories.

Yeah he probably did write at least parts of it
Song structure is very Nevermind-esque a big departure from earlier Hole. They wrote a bunch of songs together. The lyrical patterns and repetition are very Cobain-esque and doesn’t appear on Celebrity Skin or Pretty on the Inside (had to look up the album name, I almost called it Teenage Whore…it’s been a while since I’ve thought about Hole).

I doubt he wrote the entire album. I imagine Love wrote the songs and then Kurt doctored them up by tightening up a guitar hook or lyric.

I’ll say this for Hole…. They are the one all-female band to come along in the last couple decades to not sound like any or all of Bananarama, The Go-Go’s, or The Bangles.
