Blatant Fantasy Help request
Hey fellas, I just finished my first ever fantasy baseball draft and I'm looking for input (positive or negative). I apologize if this isn't the proper place for such a request; I'm merely looking for quick feedback. The league is a basic h2h scoring format. (Batting avg., SBs, OBP, R, HR, RBI, SLG) (K, WHIP, ERA, SV, k/bb, Wins, CG)
My team: Kurt Suzuki (Catcher), Paul Goldschmidt (1b), Rickie Weekes (2b), Jose Bautista (3b), Stephen Drew (ss), Giancarlo Stanton (OF), Nelson Cruz (OF), Logan Morrison (OF), David Wright (util), Jed Lawrie, Andrew Ethier, Colby Rasmus, Mike Trout (All bench)
Pitchers: Strasburg, Hamels, Moore, Morrow, Clay Buchholz, Addison Reed, Kyle Farnesworth.
How did I do? Thanks.

How many teams in the league?
Makes a difference as to how much value you got…

If that's a 10 man league, that's pretty dang good at first glance
If it’s a 8 team league, that’s still good.
I believe it’s Andre Either and not Andrew. Side note :P
Also, inning limits could kill you cause its H2H.

What....
How is that possible. I want a link to a draft recap…
Granted, I don’t play all those categories, but I would presume adding SLG and OBP would make Bautista’s value huge. He would have to have been a top 3 or top 5 pick right? Then Stanton was your 2nd. Followed by Wright? And then you managed to get Strasburg, Hamels, and Cruz 4-6? Looking at it like that I guess it’s not insanely stacked, but I still think it’s pretty good.

One suggestion
You have 3Outfielder on your bench, I would try and find a midle infielder or 1b bench player to help your depth

Actually
I’ve already initiated dropping Lowrie in favor of Jose Tabata and doing the same for Kurt Suzuki in favor of Jonathan Lucroy.

I think Arfuture1985 was suggesting that you want less OFs, not more (which Lowrie for Tabata gives you)

Yeah I understood that
It was just ironic because, like I mentioned, I have already planned on dropping my only backup infielder. Maybe try to pick up Jose Altuve instead.

You have Weeks and Drew for your IF
You definitely need some infielders on your bench.

You would be somewhat better served to post this at Fake Teams
Since that is a fantasy-centered site, and this question doesn’t deal with minor leaguers at all. Just that you’d get more on-target advice.

CAtegory analysis
Looking at the categories, You could punt CG and go after high K RP. Keep your top 3 SP but drop Bucholz and snag some high K RP. Think David Robertson (ignoring the sprained foot) or Vinnie PEstano, or Greg Holland. It gives you a fighting chance in wins since a 1 week time frame has SSS issues, allows you to win K/BB, ERA, and WHIP, be above average in K’s, and get stronger in SVs as the season goes on as all those guys are next in line for a closing gig.
I’d also punt AVG. You have a good start with Goldschmidt and Nelly Cruz. Drop Suzuki for a catcher like Iannetta or trade for Arencibia. This also makes Ethier and Lowrie expendable. They could be flipped for guys whose values are dragged down by average like BJ Upton, Mark Reynolds, Carlos Pena, Chris Young, and Dan Uggla.
