Here’s where I’m at on the Dodgers prospect list

Good afternoon everyone.

I’m working on the Los Angeles Dodgers Top 20 prospects for 2018 list and hope to have it finished tomorrow. Write-ups are proceeding apace. As usual the top guys are pretty obvious but the C+ types take more time to work through.

One thing I am doing differently this year is to list (almost) every player I studied, however briefly, in the “others of note” section on each organization report. In past years I kept that section pretty small but this was an artifact of the space considerations for the Baseball Prospect Book. With the book sidelined, there’s no reason not to get all the names out there even if they don’t get a top 20 write-up.

After we get the Dodgers done we’ll turn our gaze upon the World Champion Houston Astros, to be followed by the Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, and the Washington Nationals. As long-time readers know, the pace picks up as I get into a rhythm as the winter progresses. Thanks for your patience!
