Los Angeles Dodgers preliminary prospect grade breakdown

Here’s the first-run grade distribution breakdown for 70 Los Angeles Dodgers prospects under study for 2018.

As with most systems the top guys are fairly obvious but there’s a large mass of Grade C+ types, perhaps more in this system than in many other organizations.

There’s a lot of talent here and many of those C+ guys have higher potential that could blossom once they get more experience. There are also many borderline grades with the first run and the final tally may look considerably different.

Grade A: Zero
Grade A-: One
Grade B+: Two
Grade B: Four
Grade B-: Six
Grade C+: 30
Grade C: A bunch
