As the Minnesota Twins conduct their search for a new GM, the retention of incumbent Paul Molitor as field manager is one of the conditions apparently imposed by team ownership.
To be perfectly honest here, I don't have much of an impression of Molitor as manager for either good or ill. During the regular season I'm so focused on the minors that following day-to-day MLB things like manager strategy (or lack thereof) often falls by the wayside.
So, tell me, Twins fans or anyone who has followed the Minnesota situation closely: what are your impressions of Molitor as manager? If you were running the Twins, would you retain him for 2017?
