Carlos Carrasco

Is he going to be part of the Indians pitching piece?

by auclairkeithbc on Feb 22, 2026 2:20 PM EST reply actions

no

No…he’s not a rookie any more.

Something with "bust prospects"

I love to read something comparing guys like Gordon, Maybin, Wood etc and if you think any of them can still live up to their expectations in some way.

by CaptainHowdy on Feb 22, 2026 2:20 PM EST via mobile reply actions

good idea

Good idea….who should we include with that? You got three right there…Gordon, Maybin, Wood…let’s add two more (hitters only)

Maybe

F-mart. He’s still young too. Injuries are what hurt him. Love to see if you think he could still be an elite talent.

errr...

he’s still super young, and only a tiny taste of the majors. not sure he’s a great fit.

Chris Davis?
Jarrod Saltalamacchia?

Grading the Sophomores

It would be interesting to see updated grades for the graduates of your 2010 Top 50 lists with blurbs about a select few (like Mike Stanton for instance).

Career Profiles

For Not A Rookie types, guys still new to the bigs but not in your prospect book. Not so much the Posey’s and Heyward’s, but I’m thinking along the lines of: Jonny Venters (very interesting—mediocre prospect who showed major stuff last year—where was that before?), Jose Tabata, Travis Wood, Mitch Moreland.

Which 2010 draft pick will make it first

I'm a simple man, I go to the ballpark for Home Runs and Victories. Everything else is bonus.

NAR: Mat Gamel

I still think this guy is going to be a really good hitter.

Indeed

Too bad he is terrible at 3B. Perhaps he will get a chance when they deal Prince.

I’d like to see whether it’s better for a team to have on “A” prospect or a few "B"s.
