****Yesterday’s Gameday discussion is here.
****Today’s Morning Report is here.
****Today’s minor league schedule and list of probable starters is here. A few big names stand out:
Garrett Whitlock (Yankees) is on the bump for Tampa. His 1.80 ERA is impressive.

Touki Toussaint is on the mound for Mississippi.
Enyel de los Santos is pitching for Lehigh Valley.
Forrest Whitley goes for Corpus Christi.
Mitch Keller is going for Indianapolis.

DUEL OF THE DAY: Luiz Gohara (Braves) and Michael Kopech (White Sox) square off in Charlotte.
****Today’s MLB schedule and list of probable starters is here. A lot of rookie action of this MLB Saturday. The Twins send Adalberto Mejia to the mound against the Cubs. Adam Plutko makes his ninth career appearance against Edwin Jackson who is pitching for his 13th team (the Athletics). Ryne Stanek draws the “start” against Justin Verlander. Tyler Mahle goes for the Reds. The Marlins Pablo Lopez hopes to replicate Alcantara’s Marlins debut with his own today against Jacob deGrom. The Giants Dereck Rodriguez looks to stay hot. Joey Lucchesi hopes to keep his impressive start rolling against the Pirates.
And in a young and exciting battle of once upper echelon pitching prospects, Max Fried and Luke Weaver face off in St. Louis.
