I am continuing work on the Seattle Mariners Top 20 Prospects list for 2019. The first run through the grades gave the following results:
Grade A: Zero
Grade A-: Zero
Grade B+: One
Grade B: Two
Grade B-: Six
Grade C+: 25
Grade C: Everyone else
There’s a little play in the B-/C+ territory but the final results will be close to this. The conventional wisdom is that the Mariners system is very thin and the conventional wisdom is correct.
