Good morning everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report for Monday, June 25th, 2018.

*****Yesterday’s Gameday discussion thread is here.

*****Tampa Bay Rays rookie Jake Bauers went 2-for-6 with a home run against the New York Yankees.

*****Big strikeout game yesterday from Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Beau Burrows: six innings for Double-A Erie, four hits, two runs, four walks, with 11 strikeouts. He now has a 3.33 ERA in 75.2 innings with a 65/30 K/BB and 57 hits allowed.

*****Pittsburgh Pirates pitching prospect Oddy Nunez threw an eight-inning, rain-shortened no-hitter yesterday for Bradenton in the High-A Florida State League. He gave up two walks while striking out six. Nunez is a 21-year-old lefty from the Dominican Republic who has performed pretty well this year, posting 3.24 ERA in 75 innings with a 49/27 K/BB.

*****Minnesota Twins prospect Brusdar Graterol continues his domination of the Midwest League, throwing five shutout innings for Cedar Rapids with two hits and three walks allowed, fanning nine. He now has a 2.18 ERA in 41 innings with a 51/9 K/BB.

This is from a couple of weeks ago but demonstrates his stuff:
