Good morning everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report for Friday, June 22nd, 2018.

***Yesterday’s Gameday discussion with plenty of highlights is here.

****Rookie Austin Meadows continues to rip for the Pittsburgh Pirates, going 3-for-4 yesterday and hitting .340/.363/.598 overall through 97 at-bats.

****Meadows’ high school rival Clint Frazier went 2-for-4 for the New York Yankees and is 7-for-19 (.368) overall, while also hitting .312/.389/.558 through 154 at-bats in Triple-A. The best news here is that he’s feeling no ill effects from the concussion he suffered in spring training.

***Washington Nationals prospect Carter Kieboom made his Double-A debut yesterday and went 1-for-4, but the hit was a home run.

****Minnesota Twins prospect Lewis Thorpe struck out 12 over seven innings for Double-A Chattanooga, giving up just one hit and one walk without allowing a run. He has a 4.26 ERA through 69.2 innings with an 86/22 K/BB.

****Cincinnati Reds prospect Nick Senzel hit two homers yesterday for Triple-A Louisville and is now up to .310/.378/.509 overall.
