Minor League Ball community discussion: Fix MLB!

Let’s talk about the future of baseball.

Chris Mitchell’s article yesterday about excessive home runs having a negative impact on Major League Baseball struck a cord with many readers. There’s also been considerable commentary in the press lately about attendance being down. Poor weather across much of the country in April was perhaps one factor but as the weather has warmed up, attendance has not rebounded.

So, let’s gather some ideas. Let’s say that MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is reading this article (who knows? he might be!). If you could make one suggestion and have the owners implement it, what would it be?

Expansion? More pace of play stuff? De-juice the baseball? More profanity to appeal to the younger generation? Lay out your ideas.
