I am now working on the Los Angeles Dodgers Top 20 Prospects for 2019 report. The next team in line is the World Champion Boston Red Sox, to be followed by the Cincinnati Reds, the Seattle Mariners, the New York Mets, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Use this thread to discuss the future of the Boston Red Sox. Possible points of discussion include, but are certainly not limited to:
***The Red Sox won a stunning 108 games and capped off a marvelous season with a World Championship. Obviously that’s as good as it gets. What happens in 2019? Do you expect another 100 wins?
***What can you realistically do to improve this team? Any ideas for the bullpen?
***I think my favorite player right now is Andrew Benintendi because he can do so much to help you win. Can he actually improve from this baseline, or has he maxed out?
***For all the young wonder on the major league roster, current farm system depth is understandably down from previous highs and is one of the weaker ones in the league at this point. If you were in charge of the system, what would you do to improve matters?
***As always, feel free to discuss sleeper prospects or anything else Sox-oriented.
