How bad is the situation here?

I am now working on the Atlanta Braves top 20 prospects list for 2019. The next team in line is the Kansas City Royals to be followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, and the Seattle Mariners.

Use this thread to begin our examination of the Royals system. Possible points for discussion include:

****2019 was a bad year, the Royals finishing at 58-104. How long will it take before this team is ready to contend again? Is there any hope of getting back to .500 in 2019?

****True or False: Dayton Moore will still be running the team the next time they win more than they lose.

****What are your expectations going forward for Ryan O’Hearn? He’s past rookie limits so he won’t be on the 2019 list, meaning that this is the place to discuss him.

****Adalberto Mondesi is only 22 years old. What happens for him next?

****Brad Keller and Heath Fillmyer had solid rookie seasons and Eric Skoglund had some positive moments. Can they move beyond being useful to consistent excellence?

****What do you think of the college-heavy 2018 draft class?

****As always, share your system prospect sleepers.
