Discussing the future of the New York Yankees system

MLB: ALCS-Houston Astros at New York Yankees
Aaron Judge
Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

I am now working on the Chicago Cubs Top 20 prospects list for 2018. The next team in line is the New York Yankees, to be followed by the Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, Washington Nationals, Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres. and the Boston Red Sox.

Use this thread to discuss the New York Yankees organization. Possible points for discussion include, but are certainly not limited to:

****The Yankees finished at 91-71, second place in the American League Eastern Division. Their Pythagorean W/L based on 858 runs scored and 660 runs allowed was 100-62, meaning that they underperformed their mathematical expectation by nine games. What do you foresee for 2018?

****Joe Girardi is out as manager. Who, in your opinion, should replace him?

****True or False: Aaron Judge had what will be the best year of his career in 2017.

****True or False: Luis Severino had what will be the best year of his career in 2017.

****Did you see enough of Clint Frazier to get a read on him? Will he always be dogged by contact issues or can he improve on that and ride his power to being a solid regular or even a star?

****Jordan Montgomery: can he improve further?

****Your plan of action for Gleyber Torres and Chance Adams?

****As always, feel free to discuss your Yankees sleeper prospects or anything else related to the system.
