Is Evan Anundsen still a prospect? I remember thinking he might be an ok #5 SP for awhile.

Seth Lintz

He’s still got a live arm, though the control issue and reduction in K/9 is disturbing. Some of the ugliness in 2010 was just plain bad luck (BABIP against of .396!). At 21 by the beginning of next season, I think he’s still worth an honorable mention as a grade C prospect.

Wow

this is a VERY weak system right now.

Here are a handful of players I've seen ranked elsewhere but not listed here:

Cameron Garfield
Maverick Lasker
Eric Farris
Nick Bucci
Jonathan Pokorny

Of the five, I’d say Farris (close to the big leagues, if nothing else) probably most merits inclusion.

Now that's great tasting chicken!

Garfield is the one with the most promise of the group

imo, loved the kid the day he was drafted

Agree on Ferris being included

Knee injury from a home plate collision 21 games into the season caused him to miss about 3 months. Came back in the AFL to hit .351 in 17 games with 9 SB. Hit .298 and had 70 SB with 6 CS in the FSL in 09.

wouldn't be surprised

to see farris log innings at ss this year when yunieski hits .200 and is too fat too play the position

by ScottAZ on Jan 6, 2026 12:12 PM EST up reply actions

yeah

Yeah, Farris will get in. So will Lasker and Bucci. Not sure about Pokorny

garfield

Garfield i looked at due to his draft position but he didn’t hit or defend well in 2010.

Garfield

I tend to agree with Lobner and backtocali, Garfield should be on the list. Considering the way the pitching staff was instructed as to holding runners on, not giving Garfield or the other catcher any time to throw out runners all season, Garfield did a very good job all the way around. Everything he hit was usually squared up , but for some reason seemed to find it’s way as a line drive to someone. He also was outstanding defensively as well as handling the pitching staff and called the only no hitter in the organization last season.
