If everybody likes you, then either no one knows anything about you, or you're dead.

This doesn't seem like a fair contest
An MLB ready ss with some upside an pop in his bat vs a nice pitching prospect on the low minors who hasn’t yet had results that match a strong scouting report? I like wheeler and feel he’s underrated at times, but give me the ss who can hit and is already in the majors any day.

i think that might be closer

That's a fair fight in my book
I think mcgee might even be more proven. I have almost no doubt he can be an effective major league, the question is just in what role. He’s exactly the kind of guy that could sneak up on you.

Thats one way to look at it . . .
. . . another would be that a guy who’ll be 24 in April and has hit .270 in 1200+ Pa’s in the minors is hardly a sure bet to “hit” and 112 big league PA’s with a .214 Average doesn’t change much.
A show of hands . . . how many of the folks who voted for Espinosa have seen Wheeler pitchin person or via video clip? Because he’s the kkind of guy who’s easy to overlook until you SEE him. Just playing devil’s advocate here - I like Espinosa too but, I see Wheeler as having a MUCH higher upside as a ballplayer and I’m really reasonable about upside usually - Im talking LIKELY upside.
