MiLB 6/10
Since it is technically 6/11 (2:30 in the morning) this thread is late. Yet, I just finished my busy time at work and settled in for my nightly check on Sickel's website to find that no post was made for tonight. I hope people still want to post on these daily threads because I for one would miss them greatly if they stopped showing up. So to keep the streak going I am creating my first ever SB Nation fanpost. Let's hope it looks right when I hit publish. Anyhow, here's some of the bigger names.....
Carlos Santana 3-4, 2 doubles, 1hr (13), 1bb, 1k (what is Cleveland waiting for?) .316/.447/.597
Lonnie Chisenhall 1-3, HR, BB, K (second game in a row with a HR, this one was off Drabek)
Kyle Drabek 5IP, 5h, 2er, 4bb, 1k
Desmond Jennings 1-4, 2B
"Nobody f's with the Jesus" Montero 1-5, 2B
Matt LaPorta, follows up 3 HR game with another bomb. 2-5, HR
BDNF 3-5, 2b, HR (13)
Mike Trout 1-4, CS
One other interesting note.....While looking up what Miguel Sano was up to in the DSL, I came across this line for the DSL Twins.....They got shutout, had only one hit, and committed 12 !!!! errors. I don't think my son's 7 year old team I coach has had 12 errors in a game this year. Sano didn't play by the way.

nice
I love Myers more and more every day. Top 25 prospect by year’s end? Is he already top 25? potential top 15?

he was number 10 on the current list I posted.
with Santana’s call-up, he’s now number 9.

I had him as my No. 30 prospect entering the season...
…and my No. 1 Royals prospect as well. Saw him a few times last year. Incredible bat speed…launched a massive homerun off Garrett Richards and made hard contact almost every time up. Convinced me right then and there.
Of course, the question now is since some other Royal prospects have made major leaps themselves, is Myers the No. 1 prospect in the system? I’m leaning toward yes right now, but I can’t say that with certainty though.

Clemens 15 homers leads the Texas League by the way. He’s third in OPS.
by OremLK on Jun 11, 2025 9:28 AM EDT up reply actions
Clemens was at it again in the eighth, belting a two-run, line-drive dinger into the teeth of a 30 mph wind from right field. The homer was Clemens’ league-leading 15th of the season.
Good lord, 30mph wind blowing in and he hits an opposite field LD shot? Yeah, average power at best…

I check back a few times
per night and people must be busy or discussing the draft, because the daily Milb threads are pretty tardy lately…I keep wanting to do one, but have never actually started a thread. Anyway, thanks.

I too have missed them and thank those who take the time to start the thread… more so than my lazy ass.
Hopefully they become more regular now.

Nice
Really nice numbers on the year, and he has to be called up in the next 4 days. Interesting story on the guy, with the whole Japan thing and all.

I heard Tim Lincecum will win 1 Cy Young & 11 Tim Lincecums. Question is, how many Cole Hamels will he win?

Yep
Furthermore, in his career, he’s now got a . LHP .283 - RHP.295 split.

agree
he should be promoted. nothing much left to prove in the minors and there’s really not much pressure on him playing for the Pirates.

Wasn’t much response to the other thread mentioning him, but he’s certainly looking interesting…
4ip, 1h, 6k, 0bb in his third game in the DSL.
I know that DSL results are not all that exciting to talk about, but with the reports at his signing and results like this, I’d really love to hear if anyone knows any more about him.

I'm thinking about flying to the Dominican to see him pitch
since no one can find much info on him.
